Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing payroll for employees using ADP payroll software- General A/P Duties including invoice coding and allocation, cutting checks, and balancing GL accounts- Prepare payroll reports for management as needed- Assist with year-end accounting such as 1099 reporting, expense reports, budget preparation - Preparation of invoices for outside storage reports - Writing up miscellaneous deposits and taking them to the bank.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role- General experience in an A/P department- Proficiency in using ADP or similar system- Familiarity with debits, credits, and general ledger accounting principles- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Experience creating and formatting excel worksheets - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
