Student Employment programs at Lake-Sumter State College are intended to provide real-world job experiences for students, including an application and interview processes, on-the-job training and experiences, and professional soft skills.
LSSC student employee supervisors will work with student employees on their work schedules to ensure that education is the priority.
The Marketing Student Assistant will support the Marketing team by providing value content and perspectives to the college's communication strategy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities 1.
Support and assist with the content development and creation for print and digital projects 2.
Assist with media monitoring and reporting.
3.
Attend designated college events, promote LSSC, take photos/video and create content for social platforms 4.
Assist with keeping web content, calendars, news feeds, etc.
up to date 5.
Support departmental functions including sign approvals, inventory, and other duties/projects as assigned.
6.
Additional projects may be available based on the employee's skills, interests & abilities.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities 1.
Very comfortable with computers and technology, including Microsoft Word, Teams, Outlook and Excel 2.
Able to work well in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment 3.
Committed to working in an inclusive and multicultural environment Minimum Qualifications & Education High school diploma or equivalent.
Currently enrolled LSSC student.
Social media user preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills needed.
Lake-Sumter State College provides limited benefits for part-time employees, not including student employees, who work at least 20 hours per week.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
