Overview:
The Engineering Department Assistant position is to support our Engineering team by performing various important tasks and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Print and distribute construction drawings.
Create and revise detailed CAD tickets for projects and production Prepare detail pages, plans and other materials for production Collect, organize, disseminate, and analyze information with attention to detail and accuracy Coordinates details and dimensions between drawings.
Fix minor issues on drawings with AutoCAD Other duties as assigned Preferred
Qualifications:
Familiar with and a basic knowledge of AutoCAD software Able to read and understand blue prints and contract drawings Able to work well under time-pressured deadlines.
Understands technical terminology of the engineering and construction industry Ability to meet project deadlines Good technical and computer skills Microsoft Office Suite A keen eye for details Contribute to a positive office environment and department goals, culture, and morale.
Must be flexible in a continuously changing environment and able to work the necessary hours to meet deadlines Problem solving skills The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to learn more about blueprints, drafting and engineering concepts.
Candidates must live in the local area and be eligible to work in the United States.
